"Ethnics"
So I was strolling about my 'hoods drug store and I made a great discovery. In the cosmetic section they had a sub-section labeled "ethnic" pictured under this was a black woman. All the products were for black people. In the next sub-section were generalized Hispanic products and it was labeled "Hispanic." So this means that apparently I was wrong in my previous post. I was referring to recent immigrants as "ethnics" when apparently they are not. Black people are "ethnic", Hispanics are "Hispanic" and generally "white" people are without any culture or ethnicity and devoid of labels. Well, technically I guess according to the drug store, they fall under the label of "cosmetics." I assume this because under this label were pictures of "white" people and "white" products. It's good to know that some one is using these labels for a good cause. We wouldn't want Spaniards using products meant for "Hispanics" or Colombians using products meant for "whites."*
*When I say "whites" I should really be using the politically correct term..."Cosmetics."
Aagh, cosmetics....what a wonderful world of racial segregation.

As some people's very personal "ethnic person" I must protest your (or the cosmetic shop's) application of this term to only those people who are generally identified as "black".
Ya, well the corporation that owns this drug store has laid down the law. "Ethinc" is a term strictly reserved for blacks. Sorry if you thought that you were ETHNIC, or had any ETHNICITY.
